Some people go to Las Vegas for business, some go for fun, and others go for different reasons. There is gorgeous architecture, fun events, and great food.
I have been to Las Vegas twice now, actually for business trips (I'm not the party type). Both times I have visited the strip, which I hate and love. The reason why I hate it is that there are half-dressed women (and some men).
What I love about the strip is places like the Venetian, The Paris Hotel, Bellagio Resort and Fountain Show, Caesar's Palace, and The Colosseum. So if you find yourself in Vegas, I recommend going to these places:
Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden:
Before or after you find yourself at the Bellagio Resort Fountain Show, go to the Botanical Garden and Conservatory inside the hotel. Here's an awesome fact, it's completely free! The displays change every season; the theme this season is Japanese Spring which celebrates Japanese culture.
Bellagio Resort and Fountain Show
As I mentioned before, you need to stop by the Bellagio Resort fountain show. This show is free so you have to go. The show includes fire, lights, and of course water. In the background is the beautiful remake of the Eiffel Tower, the Paris Hotel, and the lit-up buildings on The Strip.
The schedule is different throughout the day and changes on the weekends so make sure to check the times before you go.
The Venetian
The outside of The Venetian looks like Venice. It has beautiful architecture and a canal in front that has gondola rides (Madam Tussauds Condola Ride). After you have seen the outside you have to make your way to the inside because it's a dream!
The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian
The inside of the Venetian is where The Grand Canal Shoppes are. No matter what time of day it will always be light inside this Venice. This was my first time walking through here and I was amazed at how beautiful it is. The gondolas even come inside the building!
Caesar's Palace and The Colosseum
If you want to continue your visit through 'Italy' then make your way to Caesar's Palace. The outside of Caesar's Palace looks just like The Colosseum in Rome. The outside even has a small version of the Trevi Fountain.
The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace
Inside of Caesar's Palace are beautiful recreations of statues that you would find in Italy like The Statue of David. Once you make your way through the casino, go to the Forum Shops. The ceiling is similar to the ceiling at The Venetian except it's a nighttime version.
The Paris Hotel
(The Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triomphe).
This beautiful Hotel, as you guessed (and as you can see)... is styled after the architecture in Paris. The outside of the hotel looks like apartments you might find in Paris. In addition to this, there is a wonderful recreation of The Eiffel Tower and The Arc de Triomphe in front.
If you want to pretend like you are in Paris then go to this hotel and take pictures. It doesn't feel exactly the same but it feels good to pretend. You can even eat inside the Eiffel Tower at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant.
